Junior Data Analyst

As a Junior Data Analyst at GeekyAnts, your role will involve the following responsibilities: - Prepare and update dashboards such as revenue analytics, talent analytics, and monthly MIS reports. - Maintain dashboards to ensure they remain accurate, consistent, and error-free. - Clean, validate, and organize raw data collected from various internal tools and spreadsheets. - Automate recurring reporting tasks using spreadsheet formulas, scripts, or basic coding. - Reconcile figures across multiple data sources and resolve mismatches. - Identify trends, variances, and anomalies in the data for management review. To excel in this role, you should possess the following skills and qualifications: - Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. - Proficiency in Google Sheets/Excel (LOOKUPs, SUMIFS, QUERY, data cleaning). - Basic scripting/coding knowledge for automation (e.g., Python, Apps Script - even beginner level). - Ability to run and modify simple scripts to automate repeated processes. - Hands-on experience with any BI tool, preferably Zoho Analytics (or Power BI/Tableau). - Good understanding of dashboards, data flows, and reporting principles. - Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy and consistency. - Strong time and task management skills. Preferred qualifications include exposure to automation tools or workflow scripting, familiarity with databases or basic SQL, although these are not mandatory. For educational qualifications, a Bachelor's degree in Data, Finance, Statistics, Computer Science, or a related field is required.
