Junior Content Writer

Key Responsibilities

Content Creation

• Write clear, engaging, and original content across formats but not limited to blogs, emails, social media posts, ads, landing pages, and brochures.
• Adapt tone and style based on audience: students, parents, schools, or partners.
• Support content requirements for admissions campaigns, influencer initiatives, and events.

Research & Ideation

• Conduct basic research on education and engineering trends to generate content ideas.
• Benchmark competitor content and suggest creative improvements.
• Assist in building editorial calendars aligned with admissions timelines.

Editing & Collaboration

• Proofread and edit drafts for grammar, clarity, and consistency.
• Work closely with design, social media, and admissions teams to deliver integrated campaigns.
• Take feedback from senior writers and refine drafts accordingly.

Process & Reporting

• Maintain structured content repositories and ensure version control.
• Update trackers for content deliverables and deadlines.
• Learn to monitor performance metrics (views, engagement) and use feedback to improve writing.

Requirements

• 1-2 years of professional experience in content writing, copywriting, or communications (internships included).
• Strong command of English with solid grammar, spelling, and editing skills.
• Ability to write both short-form and long-form content.
• Curiosity to learn about education, technology, and student/parent audiences.
• Discipline in meeting deadlines and following editorial processes.
• Familiarity with SEO, social media, or digital marketing basics is a plus.
