Civil Engineer

Key Responsibilities

• Plan, execute, and supervise civil construction activities related to plant buildings, foundations, roads, silos, drains, and other infrastructure.
  
• Monitor day-to-day site activities and ensure adherence to approved drawings, specifications, and timelines.
  
• Coordinate with contractors, consultants, and vendors for smooth project execution.
  
• Ensure compliance with safety standards, quality norms, and statutory regulations.
  
• Prepare BOQs, estimates, measurements, and verify contractor bills.
  
• Conduct inspections and quality checks for civil works and materials.
  
• Handle maintenance and repair of existing civil structures within the plant.
  
• Maintain proper documentation, progress reports, and site records.
  
• Support project planning, scheduling, and cost control activities.
  

Skills & Competencies

• Strong knowledge of RCC, structural works, foundations, and industrial construction.
  
• Experience in cement plant or heavy industry projects preferred.
  
• Familiarity with IS codes, safety standards, and quality procedures.
  
• Ability to read and interpret drawings and technical documents.
  
• Good coordination, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  
• Proficiency in MS Office; knowledge of AutoCAD is an advantage.
