Position Overview

We are looking for a Junior Chemist to join our Quality Control team. This role is ideal for freshers or early-career candidates passionate about chemistry and quality testing in the minerals and chemicals industry. The selected candidate will assist in in-process quality testing and support senior lab staff in maintaining product standards during manufacturing.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform basic chemical and physical tests on raw materials and in-process products.
• Measure and report properties such as bulk density, whiteness, moisture, and particle size.
• Collect production floor samples and ensure timely testing and reporting.
• Maintain testing records, logbooks, and reports as per SOPs.
• Support lab cleanliness, sample preparation, and calibration routines.
• Work closely with the production team to communicate test results.
• Learn and follow safety and quality protocols within the lab environment.

Candidate Profile

• Education: B.Sc. / M.Sc. in Chemistry or related science stream (Candidates currently pursuing final year can also apply).
• Experience: Freshers welcome. Prior internship or basic lab experience will be an added advantage.
• Willingness to work in a factory lab environment and learn in-process testing techniques.
• Basic understanding of lab instruments and chemical handling preferred.
• Good observation skills, attention to detail, and discipline in maintaining documentation.
