Junior Chemist

You will be joining the Scimplify team as a Junior Chemist in the Agro R&D department. Your role will involve supporting research and development activities related to agrochemical synthesis, formulation, and process development to contribute to innovative solutions for the agriculture sector. **Key Responsibilities:** - Conduct laboratory experiments for synthesizing, purifying, and characterizing agrochemical intermediates and actives. - Assist in the development of formulations for herbicides, pesticides, fungicides, and insecticides. - Monitor reactions, analyze results, and document experimental findings. - Work under senior supervision to scale up lab processes to pilot level. - Collaborate with analytical teams to characterize compounds using NMR, HPLC, GC, LC-MS, etc. - Ensure adherence to lab safety protocols, GLP, and EHS guidelines. - Maintain accurate records of experiments, observations, and reports. - Collaborate with cross-functional R&D and manufacturing teams to transfer knowledge and insights. **Key Skills:** - Qualification: M.Sc. with Organic Chemistry - Proficiency in synthetic chemistry and analytical techniques. - Exposure to agrochemical formulations is preferred. - Familiarity with GLP, EHS, and laboratory safety practices. - Strong documentation and data interpretation skills. - Ability to work both independently and in a team setting.
