Job Description

As a Biomedical Equipment Technician at SMF Hospital, your role will involve supporting patient diagnosis and treatment through the installation, testing, calibration, and repair of biomedical equipment. Your responsibilities will include: - Installing new equipment by establishing, adjusting, calibrating, and testing performance. - Maintaining equipment by completing preventive maintenance schedules, conducting tests, troubleshooting, and repairing malfunctions. - Calling for special equipment service, evaluating service contracts, and maintaining equipment inventories. - Ensuring patient confidence by maintaining confidentiality of information. - Maintaining a safe and healthy working environment by conducting safety tests, recommending and complying with procedures, and training medical and healthcare personnel while adhering to codes. Qualifications Required: - Completed B.E. in Biomedical Engineering or an equivalent degree. Additional Information: - Male candidates with a background in hospitals are preferred.
