Job Description

Your Role -

Junior BI Developer

Principal

  1. Provide support and maintenance for existing BI solutions (reports, dashboards, and data models).
  2. Act as a primary point of contact for business users, handling BI-related enquiries and requests in a timely and professional manner.
  3. Monitor and manage the BI team's shared mailbox, ensuring queries are logged, prioritised, and resolved effectively.
  4. Assist in documenting BI processes, reports, and solutions to support knowledge sharing and continuity.
  5. Work on standardising existing reports and dashboards to improve efficiency, consistency, and user experience.
  6. Preparation of training materials
  7. Collaborate with senior team members to escalate and resolve complex issues when required.
  8. Support ad-hoc data analysis and reporting requests.
  9. Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives within the BI function.

To succeed, you will need:

Working Experience: Experience in a similar position within a complex multi-national organisation with hands-on front line responsibilities welcome.

Essential:

  • Basic understanding of BI concepts and tools (e.g., Power BI, SSRS, Tableau, or similar).
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and other Office 365 tools.

Desirable:

  • Exposure to SQL and database concepts.
  • Experience with shared mailbox or ticket management systems.
  • Familiarity with data governance, documentation, or reporting standards.
  • Previous experience in a support or customer-facing role.

  • Strong attention to detail with good organisational skills.
  • Clear and professional communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to manage multiple requests and prioritise effectively.

  • Excellent communication skills with ability to explain concepts to lay audiences
