Junior Architect (Fresher)

The position of a Fresher and Junior Architect entails the handling of technical workflows of the assigned projects. A Junior Architect shall work under the guidance of a Project Architect with regards to the progress and workflows of the assigned projects.

The duration for which an Architect is considered Junior Architect varies on the performance of the individual (ideally 3 years from a fresher to a junior Architect) after which the individual may be promoted to a Project Architect’s position.

Responsibilities:

1. Client interaction:

Preparation of MOMs after the meeting and keeping record of the work progress.

Personal interaction with the client shall be permitted only after gaining an year of experience.

2. Concept development:

Creation of preliminary plans and preliminary concepts as per the design brief. Assisting the Project Architect in detailed design development.

3. Concept presentation:

Preparation and assisting the Project Architect in Design presentations.

4. Construction document preparation:

Preparation of GFC drawings for various consultants, vendors and execution partners.

5. Site visits:

Periodic assessment of execution at site in tandem with the site engineer.

6. Material selection:

Assisting the Project Architect for Identification and selection of materials as per the design.

7. Consultant & Vendor interaction

Limited only to the accumulation of technical knowledge.

8. Client coordination

Applied only to the Junior Architect with more than 2 years of Experience.

9. Project photo shoot coordination:

Actively participating in the documentation of the completed projects if and when required.

10. Documentation of site progress for record keeping and promotional purposes.
