Junior Analyst

We are seeking a Junior Analyst to join our dynamic data team. As a Junior Analyst, you will be responsible for developing reports and resolving data issues. To excel in this role, attention to detail, prior experience as a data analyst, and a profound understanding of popular data analysis tools and databases are essential. Your key responsibilities will include designing, developing, and maintaining interactive dashboards and reports using Power BI. You will be required to establish connections between Power BI and various data sources such as SQL, Excel, and APIs. Moreover, transforming raw data into insightful visualizations through Power Query (M) and DAX is a crucial part of your role. Collaborating with business stakeholders to gather reporting requirements and deliver effective solutions is also part of your job scope. Additionally, optimizing dashboard performance, ensuring data accuracy, and managing data refresh schedules are key tasks you will be responsible for. Working closely with data teams to enhance data models and pipelines, as well as documenting report definitions and processes for reusability, are also part of your duties. The ideal candidate should possess a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field. Proficiency in DAX, Power Query (M language), and data modeling is required. Strong SQL skills and familiarity with data visualization best practices are essential. Experience with Power BI Service for publishing, sharing, and managing permissions is preferred. Ability to work with extensive datasets, perform complex transformations, and exceptional problem-solving and communication skills are also necessary. A Bachelor's degree in Mathematics, Economics, Computer Science, Information Management, or Statistics is considered a strong advantage for this role.,
