Firewall Configuration & Policy Management: Implement, manage, and troubleshoot firewall policy rules, NAT rules, and routing configurations based on customer requests submitted via ServiceNow (SNOW). System Maintenance & Upgrades: Perform regular firmware upgrades on security appliances based on vendor (OEM PSIRT) recommendations to mitigate vulnerabilities and fix bugs. Implementation & Project Delivery: Plan, implement, provision, and thoroughly test new security solutions and configurations to meet evolving customer business requirements. VPN Management: Design, configure, and troubleshoot IPSEC VPN tunnels, ensuring secure connectivity using appropriate encryption and integrity protocols. Troubleshooting & Vendor Escalation: Systematically diagnose and resolve network security incidents; escalate complex issues (Level 3) to vendors and coordinate effectively to resolve hardware or software problems. We are seeking a skilled and experienced Azure Migration Engineer to play a pivotal role in our cloud transformation initiatives. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing, and executing the migration of our infrastructure and databases to the Microsoft Azure platform. Experience with Azure Landing Zone architecture is highly desirable. You will leverage your deep technical expertise to ensure seamless, efficient, and secure migrations, contributing directly to our technological advancement and scalability. Responsibilities: Design and implement Azure Landing Zone solutions (desirable). Plan and execute infrastructure migration deployments to Azure. Develop and implement database migration strategies, including re-platforming and rehosting. Perform migrations to Azure SQL Database. Execute migrations to Azure Open-Source Databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL) and Azure Cosmos DB. Troubleshoot and resolve issues during the migration process. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including infrastructure, database, and application teams. Document migration plans, procedures, and configurations. Stay up-to-date with the latest Azure services and migration methodologies. Qualifications: Education: Bachelor's degree in Engineering (BE). Experience: 5-8 years of relevant experience in cloud migration projects, with a significant focus on Microsoft Azure. Technical Skills: Strong understanding of Azure infrastructure services (e.g., Virtual Machines, Networking, Storage). Proven experience with database migration tools and techniques. Hands-on experience migrating to Azure SQL Database. Experience migrating to Azure Open-Source Databases and/or Azure Cosmos DB is essential.
