Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Junior Advocate and is based in Kolkata. The Junior Advocate will be responsible for drafting legal documents, conducting legal research, and representing clients in court. Additional duties include providing legal advice and assistance, preparing cases, negotiating settlements, and collaborating with senior advocates.

Qualifications

• Legal drafting and documentation skills, including agreements, deeds, and notary services
• Proficient in legal research and case preparation
• Experience in client representation and litigation
• Strong negotiation and communication skills
• Ability to work collaboratively with senior advocates and team members
• Excellent understanding of Indian legal systems and procedures
• Minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in Law (LLB)
• Membership with a Bar Council is preferred
