Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Junior Accountant, located in Kolkata. The Junior Accountant will be responsible for day-to-day financial transactions, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger entries. Other duties include assisting with financial reports, reconciling bank statements, and supporting the preparation of budgets and tax filings. The Junior Accountant will work closely with the finance team to ensure accurate financial records and compliance with all accounting standards.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in Accounting Software and Microsoft Excel
• Understanding of Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, and General Ledger
• Experience in Financial Reporting and Bank Reconciliation
• Strong Analytical and Problem-Solving Skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• Previous experience in an accounting role is a plus
