As a Video Editor, you will be part of a dynamic team creating engaging video content. Your responsibilities will include: - Edit Video Content: Assist in editing video footage for various projects, including promotional videos, social media content, and internal communications. - Footage Organisation: Organise and manage video files, ensuring all assets are properly labelled and stored. - Collaborate with Team: Work closely with the production team to understand project requirements and provide creative input. - Feedback Implementation: Incorporate feedback from team members and clients to refine and finalise video content. - Research and Inspiration: Stay updated with industry trends and techniques to bring fresh ideas and perspectives to our video projects. To qualify for this role, you should have: - Educational Background: Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in film production, media studies, graphic design, or a related field. - Skills: Proficiency in video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or similar. Basic knowledge of motion graphics and sound editing is a plus. - Creativity: Strong creative vision with an eye for detail and a passion for storytelling through video. - Communication: Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team environment. - Organisational Skills: Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment. - Portfolio: A portfolio or examples of previous video editing work is preferred.
