Jr Valuation Analyst

As a Junior Valuation Analyst, you will be responsible for valuing securities in venture-backed technology companies, specifically related to the issuance of stock options (i.e. 409a valuations). You will be based in Bangalore and remote work is not an option. Key Responsibilities: - Perform valuation analysis on a wide range of venture-backed technology companies using accepted and relevant approaches and theory - Design and work with financial models, market multiples, market transactions, and option pricing analyses - Collect data for 409a valuation process from clients and work on Excel-based data - Run valuation engagements and handle communication with Founders & CEOs, including conducting management interviews - Prepare and present the results of valuation analyses in a clear and concise manner - Assist in business development efforts by contributing to proposals, presentations, and publications for current and prospective clients - Conduct in-depth client, industry, market, and competitor research Qualifications Required: - Must have a Bachelor's or Master's degree from an accredited college or university - Freshers who have completed CFA Level 1/2/3 are welcome - Certification - CFA Level 1 completed (MUST) - Computer proficiency and ability to maximize applications such as Microsoft Word and Excel Please note that the work location is in person at Bengaluru, Karnataka 560066. You must reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work.
