Jr. Quality Analyst

You will be responsible for coordinating user acceptance testing (UAT) with lines of business staff and creating test scenarios and cases based on business requirements. In addition, you will perform thorough regression testing when bugs are resolved and ensure that the application meets all relevant quality assurance protocols, processes, and procedures. As a manual tester, you will handle all manual testing duties and document, track, and verify defects and fixes in assigned applications. You will also assist in developing and streamlining quality assurance models and stay up to date with new testing tools and test strategies. Working with a business analyst/project manager, you will review and approve test scenarios and cases, define new tools for quality assessment, and communicate clearly and effectively with stakeholders. You will participate in ensuring that assigned projects adhere to agreed-upon functional specifications and applicable quality assurance standards. In this role, you will have the opportunity to develop and execute tests on actual mobile and desktop devices, collaborate with experienced QA engineers, report findings and patterns to the technical team, and participate in various testing activities on web applications. You will also be responsible for writing comprehensive documentation, reporting issues through a formal bug tracking system, and working with the engineering team to isolate, debug, and resolve issues/bugs. To qualify for this position, you should have 1-3 years of experience in manual testing and web-based applications. You should be experienced in developing, documenting, and implementing quality assurance standards, possess strong knowledge of QA methodology and tools, and demonstrate analytical and problem-solving skills.
