As a Previz Artist (Storyboard & Concept Artist) at Knack Studios, you will play a crucial role in visually translating scripts and ideas into clear storyboards and concept art to guide production teams. Your strong manual drawing skills, proficiency in Photoshop, and understanding of cinematic storytelling will be instrumental in creating visually compelling frames. **Key Responsibilities:** - Create hand-drawn storyboards and visually compelling frames based on scripts and director briefs. - Develop concept art for characters, environments, and props to establish the project's look and feel. - Use Photoshop to refine sketches and prepare digital versions for review and presentation. - Collaborate with directors, supervisors, and production teams to ensure creative alignment. - Support the development of previz and animatics to plan camera movements, compositions, and action beats. - Iterate and revise storyboards and concepts based on feedback, ensuring timely delivery. - Maintain consistency in style, framing, and visual storytelling throughout the project. **Qualifications:** - Diploma or Degree in Fine Arts, Animation, Design, or a related field. - A strong portfolio or showreel showcasing your skills and experience.
