Role Overview

We are seeking a Previz Artist (Storyboard & Concept Artist) to join our creative team. This role focuses on visually translating scripts and ideas into clear storyboards and concept art to guide production teams. The ideal candidate will have strong manual drawing skills, be proficient in Photoshop, and have a solid understanding of cinematic storytelling. Knowledge of Unreal Engine and Blender will be an added advantage.

Key Responsibilities

• Create hand-drawn storyboards and visually compelling frames based on scripts and director briefs.
• Develop concept art for characters, environments, and props to establish the project's look and feel.
• Use Photoshop to refine sketches and prepare digital versions for review and presentation.
• Collaborate with directors, supervisors, and production teams to ensure creative alignment.
• Support the development of previz and animatics to plan camera movements, compositions, and action beats.
• Iterate and revise storyboards and concepts based on feedback, ensuring timely delivery.
• Maintain consistency in style, framing, and visual storytelling throughout the project.
  

Required Skills

• Strong manual drawing and sketching skills with a good understanding of anatomy, perspective, and visual storytelling.
• Proficiency in Adobe Photoshop (mandatory).
• Solid grasp of cinematic language, composition, and shot continuity.
• Ability to quickly translate ideas and scripts into visual form.
• Good communication skills and openness to feedback in a collaborative environment.
  

Bonus Skills

• Working knowledge of Unreal Engine and/or Blender for previz and layout.
• Experience creating animatics or 3D previsualization sequences.
• Familiarity with film production and VFX pipelines.
  

Qualifications

• Diploma or Degree in Fine Arts, Animation, Design, or a related field.
• A strong portfolio or showreel
