About the Role:

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented In-House Researcher to lead and manage our
retail database operations across India, Indonesia, Malaysia, and the Philippines. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in data research, cleaning, and structuring, with proven hands-on experience using Zoho CRM to manage and maintain high-quality data across global markets.

Key Responsibilities:

• Build, structure, and update retail databases across India, Indonesia, Malaysia, and the
  Philippines.
• Conduct deep-dive data research using public sources, third-party platforms, directories, and
  industry databases.
• Regularly clean, standardize, validate, and de-duplicate data to maintain accuracy and
  consistency.
• Use Zoho CRM extensively for data entry, management, tracking, and reporting.
• Monitor and maintain overall database health, identifying gaps, outdated entries, and
  inconsistencies.
• Source new data from public and third-party sources relevant to regional retail markets.
• Collaborate with marketing, sales, and operations teams to align on data requirements.
• Develop SOPs for database hygiene and establish workflows to ensure ongoing data quality.
• Understand and ensure compliance with regional data privacy laws and CRM best practices.
• Generate routine reports, dashboards, and insights from Zoho CRM for business teams.

Requirements:

• Minimum 3 years of experience in data research, database building, and management.
• Hands-on experience with Zoho CRM is mandatory.
• Prior work in the retail sector or with retail-focused datasets is highly preferred.
• Proven experience in data research and building structured databases from scratch.
• Demonstrated expertise in online research and data mining using tools like Google Advanced
  Search, LinkedIn, industry directories, government registries, etc.
• Familiarity with database structuring across global markets, especially in India, Indonesia,
  Malaysia, and the Philippines.
• Proficiency in Excel/Google Sheets for bulk data handling and cleansing.
• Strong attention to detail, analytical mindset, and documentation skills.
• Effective cross-functional communication and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced
  environment.
• Fluency in English; knowledge of any Southeast Asian languages is a plus.
