Job Description

Design Engineer

Key Responsibilities

  • Cabin & Body Part Design:

    Design and develop truck cabin structures, automobile body parts, dashboards, seating arrangements, and interiors.

  • 3D Modeling & Prototyping:

    Create accurate 3D models and prototypes using

    SolidWorks

    with a focus on

    Sheet Metal design

    .

  • Assembly & Integration:

    Work on sheet metal assemblies, ensuring precision and efficiency.

  • Collaboration:

    Coordinate with electrical, mechanical, and production teams for seamless design integration.

  • Problem-Solving:

    Identify and resolve design flaws, optimizing for production feasibility.

  • Documentation:

    Prepare and maintain detailed design documentation and drawings.

  • AutoCAD Support:

    Provide basic AutoCAD drawings when required.

Requirements

  • Education:

    Graduate/Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or Automobile Engineering.

  • Experience:

    1 - 3 years in truck cabin or automobile body part design.

  • Technical Skills:

    • SolidWorks 3D Modeling (Mandatory)
    • Sheet Metal Design (Mandatory)
    • Assembly Design
    • Basic AutoCAD knowledge

  • Other Skills:

    Strong visualization ability, problem-solving skills, and attention to detail.

  • Preference:

    Candidates with proven sheet metal design expertise.
