We are seeking a skilled Design Engineer with expertise in SolidWorks and Sheet Metal design to work on truck cabin and automobile body part design projects. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in 3D modeling, assembly, and sheet metal design, along with the ability to identify and resolve design flaws and production challenges. Key Responsibilities Cabin & Body Part Design: Design and develop truck cabin structures, automobile body parts, dashboards, seating arrangements, and interiors. 3D Modeling & Prototyping: Create accurate 3D models and prototypes using SolidWorks with a focus on Sheet Metal design . Assembly & Integration: Work on sheet metal assemblies, ensuring precision and efficiency. Collaboration: Coordinate with electrical, mechanical, and production teams for seamless design integration. Problem-Solving: Identify and resolve design flaws, optimizing for production feasibility. Documentation: Prepare and maintain detailed design documentation and drawings. AutoCAD Support: Provide basic AutoCAD drawings when required. Requirements Education: Graduate/Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or Automobile Engineering. Experience: 1 - 3 years in truck cabin or automobile body part design. Technical Skills: SolidWorks 3D Modeling (Mandatory) Sheet Metal Design (Mandatory) Assembly Design Basic AutoCAD knowledge Other Skills: Strong visualization ability, problem-solving skills, and attention to detail. Preference: Candidates with proven sheet metal design expertise.
