Job Summary:

We are seeking a motivated Junior Database Administrator to support the management, maintenance, and performance optimization of our database systems. The candidate will work closely with senior DBAs and developers to ensure the stability, security, and efficiency of database operations while learning advanced administration techniques.

Key Responsibilities:

Assist in installing, configuring, and maintaining database systems (SQL Server, Oracle, MySQL, PostgreSQL, or others as required).

Monitor database performance, troubleshoot issues, and assist in performance tuning.

Support backup, restore, and recovery procedures to ensure data integrity and availability.

Assist in applying database patches, upgrades, and security updates.

Help manage user accounts, permissions, and roles in line with security policies.

Participate in regular database health checks and provide reports.

Support development teams with query optimization and schema design.

Document processes, procedures, and database configurations.

Participate in on-call rotation or after-hours support when required.
