Jr. Civil Engineer

As a Material Testing Technician, your role will involve collecting and preparing samples of soil, aggregate, concrete, asphalt, and other construction materials for testing. You will be responsible for performing standard laboratory tests such as sieve analysis, Proctor compaction test, Atterberg limits, CBR (California Bearing Ratio), specific gravity and water absorption, bitumen content and gradation analysis, Marshall Stability test, slump test, and concrete cube/cylinder testing. It will be your duty to record and maintain accurate data and test results in laboratory logs and reports. Additionally, you will ensure that all equipment is calibrated and maintained properly. You will also support field testing activities, including compaction tests (field density test using Sand Cone / Nuclear Gauge), core cutting, and sampling.
