Jr. Accountant

As a Junior Accountant at Visko Group, Indore, your role will involve recording and processing financial transactions accurately using accounting software such as Tally. You will be responsible for reconciling bank statements, vendor accounts, and ledgers periodically. Additionally, you will prepare and maintain financial statements, including trial balances, and support monthly and quarterly GST filings and invoicing tasks. Your contribution in generating financial reports for internal audits and management decision-making will be crucial. You will also assist with expense tracking, petty cash maintenance, and vendor communications, while collaborating with external auditors and statutory compliance processes as needed. Keeping organized and up-to-date financial records to ensure documentation accuracy will be part of your responsibilities. Qualifications & Skills: - Education: Bachelors degree in Commerce (B.Com), Accounting, or a related field. - Experience: Minimum of 2 years in accounting or bookkeeping; familiarity with Indore or similar-sized company operations is a plus. - Technical Skills: Proficiency in Tally, MS Excel, and basic accounting software; working knowledge of GST compliance. - Soft Skills: Strong numerical and analytical abilities, attention to detail, integrity, confidentiality, and effective communication. - Work Traits: Team player with initiative and ability to manage multiple tasks under deadlines. Location & Work Conditions: - Location: Visko Group office, likely in Nipaniya/B-Zone Business Spaces, Indore. - Working Hours: Standard office hours (e.g., 10AM - 7PM), Monday to Friday or six-day week as per company norms. - Employment Type: Full-time, in-office role. - Compensation: Estimated monthly salary ranging between 15,000 - 25,000, depending on experience and company policy (based on local benchmarks).
