Job Description

As a detail-oriented and motivated Junior Accountant, you will be supporting the finance team by assisting in managing day-to-day accounting tasks, maintaining accurate financial records, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards. Key Responsibilities: - Assist in preparing and maintaining financial records, ledgers, and reports. - Support in preparing balance sheets, income statements, and other financial statements. - Handle bank reconciliations and petty cash management. - Assist with tax filings, audits, and compliance requirements. - Verify accuracy of financial data and resolve discrepancies. - Maintain organized and up-to-date accounting documentation. - Support senior accountants in monthly, quarterly, and annual closings. Qualifications Required: - Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field. - Basic knowledge of accounting principles and practices. - Proficiency in MS Excel and accounting software (Tally). - Strong numerical ability and attention to detail. - Good communication and organizational skills. - Freshers or candidates with 1-2 years of accounting experience may apply.
