Perform surgeries such as cataract surgery, LASIK, and glaucoma treatment as needed. Educate patients on eye health, preventive care, and treatment options. Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide integrated care for patients. Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records for all patients. Stay abreast of the latest advancements in ophthalmology through continuing education and training. Requirements Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) degree from an accredited medical school. Residency training in ophthalmology from an accredited program. Board certification in ophthalmology. Valid state medical license to practice as an ophthalmologist. Excellent clinical skills and the ability to provide compassionate care to patients.
