Job Description : Responsible for preparing artwork layouts, utilizing design software (e.g., Photoshop, Corel DRAW, AI), and collaborating closely with cylinder suppliers to ensure accurate text, colors, and cylinder suitability for flexographic printing on aluminum foil and packaging materials for the pharma and dairy sectors. This includes proofing, sample creation, and follow-up with production and QC to achieve high-quality print outcomes. To Check layout of artwork, text and images according to a design requirements Using desktop & software, such as Photoshop Coral and prepare a lay out in consultation with cylinder supplier Work in line with team for text, color to get the cylinder suitable for our printing machines Getting the cylinders ready for the printing process Creating sample for new development and to develop accordingly. Follow up with production department up to multiple supplies with corrections required in cylinders/design/making process. Work in tandem with QC/QA & production department to get required quality of production. Maintain good communication with supplier/vendor to get quality cylinder There should be in-depth knowledge with proven track records in the prepress/cylinder making process. Requirements & Qualifications: Proven experience in pre-press operations, specifically for flexographic printing/Foils related artworks. Strong working knowledge of design software such as Adobe Photoshop and Corel DRAW & AI . Familiarity with artwork layout, text handling, and image preparation for printing. Experience in color management. Understanding of cylinder preparation processes for flexo printing. Ability to create samples and work on new product developments. Excellent communication and follow-up skills to coordinate with suppliers, production, and quality control. Attention to detail and a strong focus on quality in a regulated environment (pharma/dairy). Technical understanding of printing processes and quality standards relevant to the pharmaceutical and dairy packaging industry.
