Role & responsibilities 1. Electrical Operations & Monitoring Monitor and operate plant electrical systems (generators, transformers, HT/LT switchgear, MCC, PCC, motors, auxiliaries). Switchyard Operation & Monitoring Operate and monitor switchyard equipment (breakers, isolators, CTs, PTs, busbars, protection relays). Implement earthing, isolation, and safety checks in switchyard and electrical areas. 6. Coordination & Supervision Coordinate with Operations, Mechanical, and C&I teams to ensure uninterrupted generation. Supervise electricians/technicians during shift operations. Support in implementing SOPs and handling plant/grid emergencies. 7. Reporting & Documentation Maintain shift logbook of electrical & switchyard operations, breakdowns, and maintenance activities.
