Location : Hyderabad.

Job Summary :-

IT SENIOR BUSINESS ANALYST

Act as a Product Manager in a SAFe Agile working model on Enterprise Data and Analytics projects, primarily to deliver business-ready data sets for end users to utilize for reporting and analytics.

Lead collaborative efforts across IT and global teams, ensuring the delivery of projects that meet defined timelines, budgets, and objectives.

Take ownership of requirements gathering and elicitation, documenting detailed acceptance criteria for product features, and turning high-level business needs into actionable solutions.

Design and oversee the implementation of analytics/reporting solutions, ensuring alignment with business needs and technical capabilities.

Evaluate and document business processes, partnering with stakeholders to identify and implement impactful process improvements.

Own the creation and execution of comprehensive test plans and take accountability for coordinating testing and implementation phases with business users.

Lead data governance initiatives by partnering with data owners/stewards to implement and maintain governance practices, glossaries, and transformation rules.

Proactively address data quality gaps and implement robust processes for exception reporting, leveraging automation where possible.

Maintain and share updated documentation with the user community to ensure proper understanding and adoption of implemented solutions.

Act as a trusted advisor and Face of IT for business partners, delivering well-articulated solutions to address their needs and challenges.

Drive collaboration with business teams to design, develop, and deliver analytics and/or reporting solutions that achieve desired outcomes.

Manage complex troubleshooting efforts and escalate critical issues to production support teams while ensuring resolution.

Mentor junior team members and provide training to business users on our data and reporting/visualization tools (ThoughtSpot, Tableau, IBM Cognos Analytics, Google BigQuery, Collibra).

Actively identify opportunities to enhance value delivery and improve overall IT support to business partners.

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Business or related field. MBA is a plus.

3+ years of experience as a business analyst, data product manager or in a similar position.

Strong understanding of business processes and functions, with the ability to analyze and document workflows and propose/design data products aligned with organizational goals and reference architecture.

Demonstrable experience in working with data and databases required – Google Cloud Platform/BigQuery would be a significant advantage.

Demonstrable experience in reporting/visualization tools required - ThoughtSpot, Tableau and/or IBM Cognos Analytics would be a significant advantage.

Knowledge of data governance practices and data management tools, particularly Collibra, would be a significant advantage.

Familiarity with SAFe (Scaled Agile Framework) principles and practices, including an understanding of Agile methodologies, ceremonies, and tools. Certification would be a significant advantage.

Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications.
