Key Responsibilities

Carry out
quantity take-off
and
material take-off
from structural and architectural drawings, primarily prepared in
ETABS
(and occasionally STAAD.Pro).
Extract detailed quantities related to
reinforcement steel, concrete, PCC, shuttering, and other construction materials
.
Prepare
detailed BOQs (Bill of Quantities)
and ensure accuracy in measurements and estimations.
Work closely with the design and planning teams to verify drawings, coordinate changes, and update quantity requirements.
Ensure compliance with project specifications, codes, and standards during take-off and estimation.
Support tendering, budgeting, and cost-control processes by providing accurate quantity inputs.
Maintain and update cost databases, quantity records, and supporting documentation.
Use
advanced MS Excel functions (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, formulas, conditional formatting, etc.)
to analyze and present data efficiently.
Provide MIS reports and dashboards for management review.

Skills & Competencies

Strong knowledge of
structural drawings and construction methodology
mostly Government Projects
Hands-on expertise in
ETABS
(preferred) and STAAD.Pro for interpreting design outputs.
Excellent skills in
MS Excel
(advanced formulas, VLOOKUP, HLOOKUP, Pivot, Data Analysis).
Good analytical, numerical, and reporting skills.
Ability to work independently and coordinate with multiple teams.
