Job Description

Key Responsibilities

Assess patients preoperatively and determine appropriate anesthesia plans
Administer general, regional, or local anesthesia as per clinical requirements
Monitor patient vitals and manage anesthesia-related complications intraoperatively
Provide post-operative care and pain management
Collaborate with surgeons, nursing staff, and other specialists to ensure safe patient outcomes
Maintain accurate and detailed anesthesia records and documentation
Participate in ICU, emergency care, and code blue situations when required
Ensure adherence to infection control, safety, and medical protocols
Mentor junior medical staff and participate in clinical audits or CMEs

Qualifications & Experience

Education:
MBBS with MD/DNB/Diploma in Anaesthesiology from a recognized institution
Experience:
3 to 8 years of post-qualification experience in anesthesia practice in reputed hospitals
Valid registration with Medical Council
