Must have skill set

1. Graduated / Eng. diploma +MSBTE ADIS.
2. Minimum 5 years experience in auto engineering/ steel unit
3. Marathi language must.

Role & Responsibility

Safety Officer

1. EHS audit trackers sent to respective Bay owners & Monthly EHS review report/PPT).

2.Monthly EHS monitoring & Audits of all respective area is done and reports submitted to all concerned HODs/Bay Owners for necessary action/compliances.

3.Co-ordination with Bay Owners/HODS for necessary compliances against raised EHS related Issues/Observation/Non-Conformances in his respective units/area.

4.Co-ordination with out-sourced agency during Periodical Environmental Monitoring in the respective units

5.Preparation of Monthly EHS review report/PPT for CMD Sir/TOP Management, under guidance of Head (EHS)

6.Calculation of OT hours and cost & provide input to functional head for necessary action.

7.Monitoring of EHS statutory requirements & their status of Compliances and report to HOD (EHS) for further action/coordination with MPCB/DISH.

8.Monitoring the Work Permit System for elimination of Unsafe work condition & Unsafe work acts.

9.Scheduled EHS training (Induction of new joiners, EHS training & Awareness to existing workmen, Tool Box training etc. on various topics & covering the all respective workmen

10.Organize the EHS related event Celebration like National Safety Day, World Environment Day etc.

11.Conducting the Weekly EHS Committee Meeting for review the EHS related issues and their action plan/taken

12.Quarterly Mock drill for prevention of fire & handling of emergency situation

13.Periodical Monitoring & maintenance of Fire Extinguishers placed in various sections of all respective units.

14.For implementation of ISO 14001 & OHSMS 45001 certification & Coordination with consultants & Bay owners

15.Coordination with competent agency during their visit at plant site for inspection of Lifting Tools & Tackles, Safety Audits and related tasks.

16.Prepare the List of Contents of First Aid Box. Decide the location of its availability point. Weekly check and replenish the items below the minimum level or expired.

17.In case of accidents occur, attend the accident place and provide necessary first aid. If requires take the injured person to OHC/Hospital for further treatment. Records such accidents in Accident register.

18.Investigate the root cause and take appropriate corrective action to avoid reoccurrences and maintain

19.Arrange and carryout Annual Health checks up of employees by competent medical practitioner once in a year. Maintain necessary record of Health checkup and issue the health card to the employees.

20.Monitoring of Compliance & co-ordination with respective section in-charge & HODs

21.Conduct Section-wise Env. Aspect-Impact Analysis & Hazard Identification & Risk Assessment

22.Noise Monitoring of Various placed in various in respective units..

23.Co-ordination with out-sourced agency during Periodical Environmental Monitoring in his respective units.

24.Follow up with purchase dept. for material & PO

26.Safety Material inventory planning given to store
