You'll define specific tooling, oversee its manufacturing, and implement it in production, impacting our commitment to safety, quality, and efficiency. Day-to-day, youll work closely with teams across the business (Engineering, Manufacturing, Supply Chain), conduct tooling costing, and much more. Youll specifically take care of writing functional specifications, validating tool designs, and training manufacturing teams on tool usage, but also contribute to continuous improvement actions. Well look to you for: Identifying tooling needs and evaluating total costs Writing and getting approval for functional specifications Participating in the design and validation of tooling Implementing tooling and performing adjustments as needed Specifying inspection, handling, and maintenance instructions Contributing to the Alstom Tooling network and database All about you We value passion and attitude over experience.
