Jewellery Sales Executive – Job Description

Location: Grant Road / Kemps Corner, Mumbai
Position Type: Full-time
Salary: ₹40,000–₹50,000 per month (based on experience and performance)
Gender: Male / Female
Experience: 2–5 years (preferably in jewellery or luxury retail sales)
Qualification: Any Bachelor’s Degree

Key Responsibilities

• Customer Service and Sales
• Greet customers, understand their preferences, and assist in selecting jewellery pieces.
• Provide detailed information about products including gold, diamond, silver, and gemstone jewellery.
• Achieve individual and store sales targets through effective upselling and cross-selling.
• Product Knowledge and Presentation
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of jewellery designs, trends, pricing, and purity standards.
• Ensure jewellery displays are attractive, clean, and well-organized.
• Assist in tagging, inventory, and display arrangements.
• Billing and Documentation
• Handle cash and card transactions accurately using POS systems.
• Prepare invoices, maintain customer records, and ensure proper documentation.
• Ensure accuracy in pricing and product details during billing.
• Customer Relationship Management
• Build and maintain strong relationships with clients to encourage repeat business.
• Follow up with customers post-sale for feedback and service support.
• Manage customer complaints professionally and resolve issues promptly.
• Team and Store Support
• Coordinate with the store manager and team for smooth operations.
• Participate in stock counting, store events, and promotional activities.
• Adhere to company policies, grooming standards, and security protocols.

Required Skills and Competencies

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong sales and negotiation abilities.
• Polite, patient, and customer-focused attitude.
• Good product presentation and grooming standards.
• Basic computer knowledge and familiarity with POS systems.
• Fluency in English and Hindi (knowledge of Marathi is an advantage).
