As a Jewelry CAD Designer, you will be responsible for creating 3D models of jewelry pieces using CAD software. You will work closely with our design team to bring concepts to life and ensure the designs are production-ready. You will also collaborate with the manufacturing team to ensure the feasibility and accuracy of the designs.

Key Responsibilities:

• Create detailed and accurate 3D CAD models for custom jewelry designs, including rings, necklaces, bracelets, earrings, and other jewelry pieces.
• Work closely with the design team to interpret sketches and conceptual ideas into CAD files.
• Ensure designs are optimized for production by considering material, dimensions, and manufacturing capabilities.
• Collaborate with the production and quality control teams to ensure designs meet all specifications and quality standards.
• Prepare 3D renders and prototypes for client presentations and approval.
• Revise and adjust CAD models based on feedback from clients, design leads, or manufacturers.
• Maintain organized files and ensure proper documentation of all design work.
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends, CAD software updates, and new manufacturing technologies.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a Jewelry CAD Designer or in a similar design role, with a portfolio showcasing your work.
• Proficiency in CAD software (Rhino, Matrix, JewelCAD, AutoCAD, etc.).
• Strong understanding of jewelry design principles, materials, and manufacturing processes.
• Ability to interpret 2D sketches and transform them into detailed 3D models.
• Attention to detail and accuracy in designs.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
• Knowledge of rendering software (KeyShot, V-Ray, etc.) is a plus.
• Experience with 3D printing and prototyping is advantageous.
• A degree or certification in jewelry design or a related field is preferred but not required.
