Jewellery Bar Coding Specialist

Key Responsibilities:Maintain and update jewellery product details, including: Product description (type of jewellery, design details) Stone weight and type Purity of gold or other materials Gross weight and net weight Date of receipt Update and verify information from suppliers to ensure accuracy and compliance with company standards. Assign unique barcodes to each product and ensure they are accurately labelled and easy to scan. Perform quality checks to ensure jewellery items meet purity, weight, and appearance standards before labelling. Categorize products using color-coded tags based on type, material, and quality. Assist in maintaining proper records and inventory reports. Coordinate with suppliers and internal teams to track stock levels and resolve discrepancies. Ensure all data entries are correct and up to date in the system. Follow company procedures for handling and storing jewellery items safely. Use and operate inventory and barcode software to update and manage product information effectively.
