Java/Open Shift Developer

As a Java/OpenShift Developer at NTT DATA, you will be responsible for leveraging OpenShift, Kubernetes, and DevOps practices to develop enterprise-grade microservices and optimize performance. You will have the opportunity to work with cutting-edge technologies and contribute to all phases of the development lifecycle. **Key Responsibilities:** - Write high-quality Java code using Java frameworks such as Spring and Struts. - Design, develop, and deploy Java applications in containerized environments using Red Hat OpenShift, Kubernetes, and Docker. - Write high-quality database queries, store procedures, and functions to manipulate the database data to the desired format (Oracle PLSQL). - Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins and Ansible, automating deployments and streamlining workflows. - Write unit tests and load test scripts. - Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to database performance, capacity, replication, and other data-related issues. - Optimize processes for speed and efficiency, addressing bottlenecks and ensuring the application can handle the volume, velocity, and variety of data. - Work with clients to deliver scalable and maintainable code. - Understand the infrastructure requirements needed for the application. - Develop streamlined CI/CD processes for application development. **Qualifications Required:** - 7+ years of experience building large-scale Java applications. - Hands-on experience with OpenShift, including automation and scripting for building infrastructure. - Good communication skills with the ability to lead domain discussions with BFSI customers.
