Job Description

Job Summary:

Java Developer

Key Responsibilities:

Design, develop, test, and deploy Java-based applications following coding standards and best practices.
Work on backend services, APIs, and integrations with databases and external systems.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams (frontend, QA, DevOps, product) to deliver high-quality software.
Participate in system design discussions, code reviews, and performance optimization.
Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code.
Debug, troubleshoot, and resolve technical issues in production and development environments.
Ensure application security, scalability, and performance.
Stay current with emerging Java frameworks, tools, and technologies.

Qualifications and Skills:

Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
2–6 years of experience in Java development.
Strong proficiency in
Core Java (Java 8 or above)
and
Object-Oriented Programming (OOP)
concepts.
Experience with
Spring Framework
(Spring Boot, Spring MVC, Spring Security, Spring Data).
Knowledge of
RESTful API
design and development.
Hands-on experience with
databases
(MySQL, PostgreSQL, Oracle, or MongoDB).
Familiarity with
build tools
such as Maven or Gradle.
Understanding of
version control systems
(Git, GitHub, GitLab).
Knowledge of
unit testing frameworks
(JUnit, Mockito).
Familiarity with
Agile/Scrum
development practices.

Preferred (Nice-to-Have):

Experience with
Microservices Architecture

Knowledge of
Docker

Kubernetes
, and
cloud platforms
(AWS, Azure, GCP).
Familiarity with
message brokers
(Kafka, RabbitMQ).
Exposure to
CI/CD pipelines
(Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD).
