Java Tech Lead

Role Overview: You will work with a team of engineers to develop new features for a financial Java project and lead the team. Additionally, you will collaborate with product managers and stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications. It is important to stay updated on the latest Java technologies and trends. Moreover, you will mentor and train junior engineers and other team members. Key Responsibilities: - Develop new features for a financial Java project - Lead a team of engineers - Gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications - Stay updated on the latest Java technologies and trends - Mentor and train junior engineers and team members Qualifications Required: - Bachelors degree in Computer Science or a related field - 5+ years of experience in Java development and team-leading - Experience with a variety of Java frameworks and technologies - Strong analytical and problem-solving skills - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills - Ability to work independently and as part of a team - Commitment to continuous learning and improvement Additional Details: The company is looking for someone with expert knowledge in Java, Spring Boot, Spring Cloud, Kubernetes, Docker, and AWS. Experience in Microservices, Spring Microservices, Dropwizard, Netflix OSS, Akka is preferred. Experience in team management and Agile, Scrum, Kanban methodologies will be beneficial.
