Java Software developer

You are a highly skilled and motivated Senior Technical Consultant who will be joining our Professional Services team. Your role will include solution implementation, custom development, third-party integration, data loading, and interface configuration. The ideal candidate for this position should have previous experience working in a fast-paced environment and possess strong technical and communication skills. As a Senior Technical Consultant, your key responsibilities will involve participating in end-to-end implementation of technical solutions as part of the Professional Services team. You will collaborate with Solution Architects, Tech Leads, and client teams to design, develop, and test customizations. Additionally, you will be responsible for developing custom applications and enhancements using Java, Oracle, and scripting languages. You will also assist clients with technical aspects of implementations, including hardware/software sizing, deployment strategies, and integration with third-party systems. Furthermore, you will lead data migration activities, coordinating with clients for data mapping, format validation, loading, and error resolution. Providing technical guidance and support to internal teams and mentoring junior team members as needed will also be part of your role. Key Requirements: - 4 to 6 years of hands-on experience in software development/technical consulting. - Strong proficiency in Core Java and J2EE, with at least 1 year in server-side, real-time, transaction-based development. - Solid understanding and experience in object-oriented programming. - Expertise in Oracle SQL and PL/SQL. - Experience in developing or customizing applications using Java and scripting languages. - Strong problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot technical issues effectively. - Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including email and documentation etiquette. - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field. Desired Skills: - Exposure to middle-tier programming using Servlets. - Familiarity with web technologies such as HTML and XML. - Experience using Eclipse IDE and version control systems (e.g., Git, SVN). - Prior experience working in a fast-paced, client-facing environment. - Experience with system sizing, deployment, and third-party software integration. - Mentoring experience or ability to guide junior team members.,
