Role Overview:

Java Programmer

Key Responsibilities:

Software Development:

• Write clean, efficient, and maintainable Java code using best practices (OOP, SOLID, DRY principles)
  
• Design and implement backend services, APIs, and database access layers
  
• Work on new feature development as well as enhancement and maintenance of existing applications

System Design & Architecture:

• Participate in system and module design discussions
  
• Contribute to architecture decisions involving microservices, APIs, caching, and data storage

Testing & Debugging:

• Write unit and integration tests (using JUnit, TestNG, Mockito, etc.)
  
• Debug, troubleshoot, and resolve technical issues in a timely manner

Documentation & Standards:

• Document software functionality, code changes, and workflows
  
• Ensure adherence to coding standards, version control, and documentation practices

Nice-to-Haves:

• Experience with microservices architecture and containerization (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes)
  
• Knowledge of message brokers (Kafka, RabbitMQ) and caching (Redis, Memcached)
  
• Exposure to cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP)
  
• Familiarity with CI/CD tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI, or GitHub Actions
  
• Frontend experience with JavaScript/Angular/React is a plus
