Java/Microservices Developer

Purpose of the role

To design, develop and improve software, utilising various engineering methodologies, that provides business, platform, and technology capabilities for our customers and colleagues, Accountabilities

Development and delivery of high-quality software solutions by using industry aligned programming languages, frameworks, and tools

Ensuring that code is scalable, maintainable, and optimized for performance, Cross-functional collaboration with product managers, designers, and other engineers to define software requirements,

This role is focused on delivering robust, scalable, and highly performant solutions within trading space under the fast-paced environment

Experience 4-8 yrs in Java and Microservice implementation

Desired Skillset and experience

Strong proficiency in Java programming (Java 11 or higher)

Hands-on experience with Spring Boot framework for building microservices

Demonstrated experience in microservices architecture design and implementation

Experience with unit testing frameworks (JUnit, Mockito)

Proficiency with Git/BitBucket/Gitlab

Understanding of CI/CD pipelines

Experience with relational databases or MongoDB

Some Other Highly Valued Skills May Include

• Experience with Apache Kafka for event streaming and message processing
