Java Fullstack Developer

As a Software Development Engineer in the Digital Verification Technologies (DVT) division at Siemens EDA, you will be part of the core R&D team working on Questa Verification IQ (QVIQ), a next-generation web-based collaborative verification management product. Your role will involve contributing to crafting UX/UI adhering to Siemens guidelines, proposing usability improvements, and developing an aesthetically pleasing UI. You will build an innovative product using technologies like Java Spring with Hibernate for backend collaboration and Angular, CSS, HTML, and Bootstrap for frontend development. Working with a diverse global team, you will contribute to improving production-quality components, algorithms, and engines while supporting existing codebases. Your problem-solving skills and ability to drive innovation in a fast-paced environment will be key to success. Key Responsibilities: - Contribute to crafting UX/UI following Siemens guidelines, propose usability improvements, and develop an aesthetically pleasing UI - Build an innovative product using Java Spring with Hibernate for backend collaboration and Angular, CSS, HTML, and Bootstrap for frontend development - Work with a diverse global team to improve production-quality components, algorithms, and engines while supporting existing codebases - Solve sophisticated, open-ended problems in collaboration with senior engineers in a dynamic environment - Stay self-motivated, disciplined, and focused on driving innovation within the team Qualifications Required: - Proven expertise in software design and architecture - 5-8 years of experience in software development - Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Electrical Engineering, or related technical field - Strong understanding of SDLC and client/server architectures - Extensive experience with RESTful web services and full-stack development (Spring Boot, Node.js, Redux, Angular/React, JSON) - Deep expertise in Java and Spring Framework on UNIX/Linux platforms - Strong analytical, problem-solving skills, and expertise in algorithms and data structures - Experience with SQL and NoSQL databases Good to have: - Basic knowledge of digital electronics and HDL languages (SystemVerilog, Verilog, VHDL) - Experience with Python, Hibernate/JPA, Figma, and Photoshop - Exposure to simulation technologies and formal verification methodologies is a plus Siemens is a global technology leader dedicated to building the future in over 200 countries.
