Job Description

As an Agile Dev Team Member IV - Java at Capgemini, your role is crucial in the development and maintenance of high-quality software solutions within an Agile environment. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, implement, and enhance applications while following best practices in software development. By leveraging your Java programming skills, you will conduct technical feasibility studies, translate business requirements into technical specifications, and ensure architecturally sound end products. Your contributions to coding standards and practices will foster a culture of continuous improvement and innovation within the team. Key Responsibilities: - Design and implement robust and scalable Java applications. - Participate in all phases of the software development lifecycle, including requirements analysis, design, coding, testing, and deployment. - Conduct code reviews and offer constructive feedback to peers for ensuring code quality. - Troubleshoot and resolve system issues in both production and non-production environments. - Collaborate with business analysts and stakeholders to gather and document requirements. - Stay abreast of the latest Java technologies and framework trends, advocating for their adoption where beneficial. Requirements: - Work Experience: - Minimum Required: 6-8 years - Preferred: 8-10 years - Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field. Key Skills: Advanced Skills (7+ Years): - Strong expertise in Java, including frameworks like Spring and Hibernate. - Experience with RESTful and SOAP web services. - Proficiency in Microservice Architecture. Intermediate Skills (4-6 Years): - Familiarity with Agile methodologies (Scrum/Kanban). - Knowledge of database technologies (SQL, NoSQL). - Experience with development tools such as GitHub, AWS. Certifications: - Java Certification (e.g., Oracle Certified Professional) is a plus.
