Java Developer

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain RESTful APIs using Java and Spring Boot.
• Build and optimize Kafka producers and consumers for real-time data processing.
• Integrate Kafka with backend services to enable event-driven architectures.
• Collaborate with front-end developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to deliver high-quality features.
• Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code.
• Troubleshoot and resolve production issues promptly.
• Conduct code reviews and participate in Agile/Scrum activities.
• Implement security best practices and ensure data privacy.
• Stay updated with the latest industry trends and incorporate them into existing and future projects.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• Proven experience in Java development (Java 8 or above).
• Strong understanding of REST API development and best practices.
• Hands-on experience with Kafka (producers, consumers, topics, partitions).
• Familiarity with Spring Boot and Spring Cloud.
• Knowledge of JSON, XML, and related data interchange formats.
• Experience with relational databases (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL) and/or NoSQL databases.
• Understanding of microservices architecture and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes) is a plus.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).
• Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
• Familiarity with other messaging systems like RabbitMQ.
