Java Developer

Role Overview: As a Java Developer at Medblocks, you will be responsible for architecting and delivering a robust, cloud-ready backend platform to power AI-enabled healthcare workflows. Your role will involve designing scalable APIs, secure data pipelines, and event-driven microservices to enable clinicians to access and interact with life-critical health data. Key Responsibilities: - Architect, build, and maintain high-performance Java backend services using Spring Boot, Hibernate, and modern frameworks - Design scalable, secure RESTful APIs and event-driven microservices leveraging FHIR and openEHR healthcare data standards - Implement data pipelines for ETL, real-time ingestion, and AI inference integration - Optimize system performance, memory usage, and reliability for high-concurrency distributed systems - Integrate external medical data sources and third-party APIs - Create CI/CD pipelines with automated testing and containerized deployments - Ensure code adherence to healthcare regulatory standards and maintain code quality - Leverage AI-powered development tools and optimize query performance for medical workflows - Build asynchronous, message-based processing using Kafka, ActiveMQ, or similar tools - Document system architecture, data models, and API contracts for consumers Qualifications Required: Must Have: - 3+ years of production Java backend development in large-scale distributed systems - Expertise in Java 11+ and enterprise frameworks like Spring Boot and Hibernate/JPA - Strong architecture and design skills for building reliable, scalable APIs and services - Proficiency in SQL and NoSQL databases, Docker, Kubernetes, and CI/CD tools - Experience with AI/ML inference, security best practices, and healthcare data standards Nice to Have: - Knowledge of event-driven architectures and messaging systems - Previous work in healthcare IT or regulated industries - Familiarity with cloud-native services and full-stack capabilities - Contributions to open-source projects and experience with DevOps practices Additional Company Details: Uplers is dedicated to making hiring reliable, simple, and fast for talents seeking contractual onsite opportunities to progress in their careers.
