Java Developer

The candidate sought will be part of a talented software team that works on mission critical applications and should have experience in building high performance, scalable and enterprise grade applications. The individual will be involved in Java EE application and SQL development while providing expertise in the full development lifecycle, from concept and design to testing.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop applications for critical systems, delivering high availability and performance.
• Should understand and be able to contribute to all phases of the development lifecycle.
• Write well designed, testable, and efficient code.
• Ensure designs are in compliance with company specifications
• Prepare and produce releases of software components
• Support continuous improvement by investigating alternatives and technologies and presenting these for architectural review.
• Develop SQL queries and Stored Procs for application.

Skills

Preferred

• Minimum of 4-7 years of technology experience with adequate hands on technical roles in the field
• Graduate Computer Science Engineer or related field or a combination of related experience and education
• Excellent Communication and interpersonal skills (listening, speaking and able to write clear and easy to understand specs) to effectively interact with team members and business users
• Strong knowledge and work experience in Java and J2EE
• Should be a quick learner.
• Strong analytical, trouble shooting and problem-solving skills
• Good knowledge of database query using SQL Server.
• Should have good knowledge and working experience on technologies listed below.
• Core Java, JSP, Servlet, Spring Boot, Spring MVC, Hibernate, JPA
• Knowledge of frontend technologies like Angular JS/React JS
• Experience with XML, XSLT, JSON, and schema files
• Web Services SOAP and/or RESTful
• Servers – Tomcat/JBOSS

Desired

• Experience in relational data modeling principles and techniques.
• Ability to mentor junior team members.
• Experience on cloud services AWS and/or Azure
