Automation Tester

Requirements

• Bachelors or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or an equivalent technical field.

• 4+ years of hands-on experience in QA Automation

  , covering both UI and API testing.
• Strong experience in

  Cypress

  and/or

  Nightwatch

  for UI automation.
• Practical experience with

  Selenium WebDriver

  and

  Cucumber/BDD

  frameworks.
• Proficiency in

  API testing

  using

  Postman

  (scripts, environments, data-driven tests).
• Hands-on experience in

  performance/load testing

  using

  JMeter

  .
• Strong programming or scripting skills in

  JavaScript

  and

  Java

• Experience working with test runners and frameworks such as

  TestNG, Mocha

  , or similar.
• Familiarity with

  reporting tools

  (HTML reporters, dashboards).
• Experience with

  Git

  and routine practices such as branching, merging, and code reviews.
• Exposure to

  CI/CD pipelines

  (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, etc.).
• Working knowledge of

  SQL/NoSQL databases

  for data validation.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the complete QA lifecycle across functional, API, UI, and performance testing.
• Design, plan, and execute test strategies to ensure comprehensive coverage and high-quality releases.
• Develop, maintain, and enhance automation frameworks to improve test efficiency and stability.
• Create, review, and execute manual and automated test cases based on business and technical requirements.
• Collaborate with developers, product managers, and stakeholders to clarify requirements and define acceptance criteria.
• Analyze test failures, logs, and system behavior to identify issues and drive root cause investigations.
• Ensure continuous testing by integrating automated suites into CI/CD pipelines.
• Conduct regression testing, validate defect fixes, and ensure release readiness.
• Maintain accurate documentation, including test plans, test cases, and execution reports.
• Continuously improve QA processes, contribute to best practices, and promote a quality-first mindset across the team.
