Responsibilities: Collaborate with product managers, designers, and other developers to understand project requirements and translate them into technical specifications. Design, develop, test, and deploy high-quality Java applications using best practices and design patterns. Write well-organized, maintainable, and efficient code. Troubleshoot and debug complex issues, identifying and implementing solutions in a timely manner. Participate in code reviews, providing and receiving constructive feedback to ensure code quality. Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends, technologies, and best practices in Java development. Contribute to the continuous improvement of development processes and workflows. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field. 2+ years of professional experience in Java development. Strong understanding of core Java concepts, data structures, and algorithms. Proficiency in Java programming language and related technologies. Experience with Java frameworks (e.g., Spring, Hibernate) and tools. Familiarity with web services (RESTful APIs) and microservices architecture. Knowledge of version control systems (e.g., Git) and agile development methodologies. Problem-solving skills and the ability to analyse and optimise code for performance. Excellent teamwork and communication skills. Attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality software. Preferred candidate profile Experience with front-end technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript, etc.). Knowledge of database design and SQL. Familiarity with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud). Contributions to open-source projects or personal coding projects.
