Java Developer – 1 Year Experience - On-site | Lucknow

About the Role:

We are looking for a passionate Java Developer with around 1 year of experience in backend development to join our in-house team in Lucknow.
The ideal candidate should have a solid understanding of Java, REST APIs, databases, and Docker, and be eager to work on scalable backend systems in a collaborative environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain backend services using Java and Spring Boot.
• Build and integrate REST APIs for internal and external applications.
• Work with databases such as MySQL or PostgreSQL for data storage and management.
• Collaborate with the frontend, QA, and DevOps teams to ensure smooth development and deployment.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to application performance and functionality.
• Manage backend services within Docker containers.
• Maintain version control using Git and participate in code reviews.

Required Skills:

• Strong knowledge of Core Java (Java 8 or higher)
• Hands-on experience with Spring Boot and REST API development
• Understanding of OOPs concepts, exception handling, and multithreading
• Familiarity with MySQL / PostgreSQL
• Experience working with Docker (basic containerization and image management)
• Basic understanding of CI/CD pipelines and Linux commands
• Good problem-solving and debugging skills
• Familiarity with Git and collaborative development

Good to Have:

• Exposure to microservices architecture
• Familiarity with message queues (RabbitMQ, Kafka)
• Basic understanding of cloud environments (AWS / Azure / GCP)

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field
• Around 1 year of experience in Java backend development
