Java Backend Lead

As an experienced IT professional with 8+ years of total experience, you will be responsible for the following key tasks: - Lead and drive the development of scalable backend components - Design and implement microservices using SpringBoot - Collaborate with internal teams and external clients for smooth delivery - Handle database migration and REST API development - Provide mentorship and leadership to a team of 8-10 developers - Ensure cloud compatibility and CI/CD integration Qualifications required for this role include: - 6+ years of strong CoreJava and SpringBoot development - 6+ years in Microservices architecture and RESTful API development - 4+ years of experience in a TeamLead role - Expertise in application development & deployment with CI/CD tools - Strong verbal and written communication skills for client interaction - Good understanding of tech stack, database migration, and SQL Good to have skills for this role are: - 4+ years working with MongoDB & Kafka - Agile Development experience - Knowledge of PBM (Pharmacy Benefit Management) domain - Experience in GCP or other cloud platforms - Database migration experience especially to PostgreSQL In addition to the responsibilities and qualifications, this role will report to the Delivery Manager, with a team size reporting of 8 to 10 developers. There is an on-site opportunity post the initial period, and the project involves PBM Eligibility System Migration (AS400/RxClaim to GCP) with an expected team size of 10 to 15 developers.
